Throw a dollar in the bucket?

Like any good old-time jam, you need a lot of people to make a film. It takes producers, camera operators, editors, marketers, distributors and, especially when it comes to documentaries, a whole community committed to telling and sharing the story. We care very much about telling Alice's story and we suspect we're not the only ones.

Help us tell the world about this pioneering woman of bluegrass by dropping a dollar in bucket. Your contribution not only makes sure we can make this film using the best resources, but it's also tax deductible thanks to our fiscal sponsorship by the Southern Documentary Fund (SDF), a 501 C(3) non-profit. You can contribute the Old Time way by mailing us a check made out to "The Southern Documentary Fund" with "Alice Project" in memo line. We'll return the love with one of the below incentives. Plus, once the film is completed, we will contribute a portion of all proceeds to the Southern Poverty Law Center, per Alice's wishes.

The ask is simple: Donate to help us make this film and we promise you'll not only be a part of telling a story that matters you'll also be contributing to continue Alice's legacy of fighting for social justice.
