OUR BANJOMETER HIT THE $20k TOP!
We excitedly launched the Old Time Crowdfunding Campaign with a goal to raise $20,000 in the Fall of 2017. As with most crowdfunding projects, we aimed to surpass our goal with many ($25-$50) smaller contributions, a good number of medium sized ($100 - $250) contributions, and a handful of larger ($500 and up) contributions. We welcomed all levels of support.
In the end, 95 backers helped us raise $21,330 of $20,000 goal. In addition to making donations to the film, film fans put in effort to recruit others and spread the word via their social and music networks all of which were all critical to our success. It takes a village. And we are grateful for all help in building a community around the film.
Project update
We started this campaign to help us complete production work and begin editing the film. On the production front, Kenny has traveled across the country to interview Alice's family, friends, and collaborators. He's hired cinematographers to work with him on these shoots. Kenny and Alice also continue shooting additional scenes related to the film story. Our fundraiser also supports the start of post production work running into 2018.
Folks are asking, "When can we see the film?" Our plan is to reach our total fundraising goal of $120,000 in 2018. This Old Time Crowdfunding Campaign is an important piece of this goal.

Thrilled to share that in just a few short days we passed the halfway point! We can't say how grateful we are to all the people out there who love Alice, think her story is important and trust us to share it.
